Tikka vom Platanar *Placed*
Tikka is a medium female with a big attitude. She is vocal and very willing to engage a threat. Tikka has advanced obedience training and has been prepared to trial with Working Dogs of America. She is very active in her work and eager to fight the “bad guy”. Tikka works with us on our ranch and is able to control herself around a variety of distractions from chickens, to sheep, to horses. Tikka does best with male dogs but can still be under control around females. She also does well in the house, she can settle well and grew up with our son. Tikka would make a great personal protection dog but could also pursue protection sports.
"Jira" Ajira von den Sportwaffen FO P1 *Placed*
Jira is a small, intense female with pronounced working ability. She may be small but she makes up for it with heart and her big motor. Jira loves to work and will run herself into the ground for you. Jira is fast, precise, and intense in her work. In protection she shows pronounced fight with big, full, hard pushing grips. She can go from quiet and controlled to angry and threatening with one word. Even with her working intensity Jira is fantastic with children and very loyal to her handler. Her family becomes her world and she tunes out the rest of the world. Along with being good with kids she is great in the house, she is not a destructive dog, and does well with other dogs. Along with excelling in protection and as family dog Jira also showed special talent in herding. Jira is also trained to work as a living fence for grazing sheep along with moving them from A to B, guarding feed, and penning them up. Jira also shows strong talent in her ability to search, with strong dedication to what she is trying to find. She is crate and kennel trained as well. She is also trained for the protection sport Working Dogs of America and titled up to the Protection Dog 1 title.
Jira was originally going to be a breeding dog for our program but unfortunately did not pass her health testing with one failing hip. This hip has shown zero impact in her working ability and she has been able to work all day without issues.

Jira was placed with a fantastic family here in Cottonwood CA. She quickly became a loyal companion to two boys and was able to integrate into a ranch life style, joining them on cattle round ups and entertaining the kids during branding. We are incredibly grateful for her to be placed in such a fantastic home where she gets to live such an fulfilling life for a dog.
